Welcome to St Mary Magdalene Church...

St Mary Magdalene Church is the pretty Saxon church that is situated in the village of Hart in Hartlepool. It primarily serves the local communities of Hart Village, Middle Warren and Bishop Cuthbert , but prides itself on delivering a warm welcome to anyone attending services, including weddings, baptisms and funerals. It maintains a close relationship with Hart Village School and is particularly proud of its 3@4 services, held on the third Sunday of every month at 4pm, whose primary aim is to encourage families from the community of Hartepool and surrounding areas, with as many children as they can muster, to attend a family-oriented service that is relaxed, warm and inviting.

You, and any members of your family, are more than welcome to turn up to this service, or indeed any other, for a 'taster' session. Why not dip your toes in the water, especially if you have young children, to see if you like what we have to offer at our 3@4. The service caters largely for children, with sufficient interest for adults to encourage a return, even if several months/years/decades have elapsed between church visits!
